Volunteer at The Front Desk!
At the front desk, there’s a wide variety of things you can do to pass the time and get some fun work in! The main responsibilities of a front desk volunteer include:
Answering the doorbell and greeting members
Providing a warm and welcoming environment to everyone who walks in
Signing in members who forgot their badges
Ensuring folks who enter are member of The Generator
Giving tours to new and prospective members
Answering the phone and providing general information on The Generator
Chat with members who are using the space!
When you signup to be a front desk volunteer, we will ask you go through a short training to get up to date with our policies and procedures and membership software, Gymmaster! Training should take about 30 minutes. After you fill out the form, we'll reach out to set a training time and date!

The Generator is The Generator thanks to the passion and dedication of our member base.
Help take care of The Generator shops through formal volunteer activities!
Use this form to signup for formal volunteer opportunities, or to let us know if you have a consistent timeslot you want to volunteer in!
Let us know where and how you want to help!
We will reach out via email when we have special tasks, if we are scheduling a large cleanup day, if a shop needs special attention, etc!
Make sure to always track your volunteer hours on our volunteer logs, located in every shop!
Shop Volunteer days:

Get together every other Saturday to help contribute to the community space we all love so much!
During shop volunteer days get connected with Shop Manager Shelly to deep clean, organize and maintain the shared shop spaces!
